IVECO Foundation, VALENCIAN INSTITUTE OF CLASSICAL AND ORIENTAL STUDIES is a Foundation dedicated to ancient sciences financed basically by private funding. IVECO is in the process of conformation of a interdisciplinary and international team of researchers, whose purpose is the research knowledge on the antiquity and its diffusion under three particular aspects :
1 - International conferences (Hellenistic Warfare) 2 - Archaeological excavations in the republic Macedonia, as well as other projects in the field of archaeology. 3 - We organize seminaries and courses dedicated to the antiquity that are held in the seat of the foundation whose objective is to let the results of the research be known to the great public. 4 - IVECO publishes works related to military history, to political history and to the strategy in the antiquity. 5 - IVECO has a research center with a library specialized in military history of antiquity and particularly in subjects like: Alexander the Great, ancient Macedonian and the Balkan. The center also has an extensive photographic library, a map and media library. 6 - The Foundation can eventually host and offer residence to researchers whose studies coincide with our themes of investigation. |
